What conditions must your PV panels meet?
- You can offer all types and brands of PV panels.
- The PV panels must be complete, including all original parts such as frame, connector and cables. Collection points may reject your PV panels or charge extra if they are not.
- The PV panels must come from a Belgian installation.
- Some collection points only accept PV panels from professional customers with a VAT number. Are you a private individual? Then you can check the filter 'Private' in the list.
- Of course, you have to respect the opening hours of the collection points. In most cases, you will also need to make an appointment in advance. So always contact the collection point before you stop by.

How do you prepare PV panels at the collection point?
- Safety comes first. Make sure you have the necessary personal protective equipment on hand: gloves, safety shoes and safety glasses.
- When lifting, stand as close to the panel as possible and bend your knees if necessary. Keep your back extended as much as possible for ergonomic posture. Review in advance the course you need to take and remove all obstacles. Ask for help from a colleague or a collection point employee when necessary.
- Beware of sharp edges and broken PV panels. Uninsulated power cables can also pose safety hazards.
- PV panels are fragile, so treat them with care. Carefully dispose of the panels at the collection point provided.
